FAG Kugelfischer (Brand FAG)

FAG, acronym of “Fischer’s Automatic Gussstahlkugelfabrik”, was founded in 1883 by Friedrich Fischer in Schweinfurt (Germany). It specialized in automating the production of steel balls for bearings. In 2001 it was acquired by INA‑Schaeffler and today is a key brand of the Schaeffler Group, along with INA and LuK.
