Description

The ESAB Savage A40 AIR screen is prepared for PAPR ventilation equipment
It has a lightweight shell that effectively protects against heat, sparks, and splashes.
Incorporates the latest technology in the ADF filter resulting in excellent image quality in the True Color range.
Provides the perfect combination of functionality, performance, and comfort for both occasional and professional welders.

FEATURES:
External darkness adjustment in the range of DIN 9 to DIN 13 and optical class 1/1/1/2.
The delay and sensitivity can be adjusted from the inside.
Four welding arc sensors that increase the response speed of the auto-darkening filter.
A wider field of view of 100×50 mm (3.93×1.96 ”) that increases spatial orientation.
The sensitivity adjustment is useful when TIG welding with low current. This allows the filter to react faster to decrease the intensity of the arc light.
The delay adjustment allows you to set the time interval during which the ADF filter should remain dimmed after turning off the arc.
A short delay speeds up work during spot welding, while a longer delay is useful when welding with high currents.
Grinding mode button accessible from the outside. Grinding mode with DIN 4 darkening.
True color means a brighter image and the real color reproduction of welded parts.
Glass size: internal – 105×55 mm, external – 115×93 mm.
Solar cell, no battery replacement (1 x lithium battery CR2450). Low battery warning.

APPLICATIONS:
MIG / MAG welding
TIG DC and AC / DC welding
PAW welding – plasma arc welding
MMA coated electrode welding
