Description
3M™ Primer 94 (Ref. 7100269256) is a universal primer designed to improve the adhesion of VHB™ tapes, vinyls, and films on difficult surfaces, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, glass, metal, concrete, wood, or painted metal.
Highlighted Features
- Minimal liquid layer of light yellow color.
- Fast drying: around 5 min at room temperature.
- Increases bonding strength and durability.
- Practical format in spray or bottle – easy application.
- Cleaning with isopropyl alcohol.
Recommended Application
- Clean and dry the surface (50/50 alcohol if necessary).
- Apply a thin and uniform layer with a brush, roller, or spray.
- Wait for complete drying (approx. 5 min).
- Apply the VHB™ tape immediately on the treated surface.
This solution is ideal for improving bonding reliability in industries such as automotive, signage, construction, and precision assemblies.
